Cagayan de Oro City reported 21 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Thursday, January 7.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged a total of 21 new cases as of 10 PM yesterday, all of which are local cases.

With this, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the city are at 2,929

Out of the cumulative total, 294 are active cases, 91 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 198 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and five cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced four new recoveries and one new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,488 and 147, respectively.

Of the cumulative total, 404 are under the LSI/ROF category, with five active cases, one death (ROF), and 398 recovered.

Meanwhile, local cases rise to 2,525 with 198 active cases, 146 deaths, and 2,090 recoveries.
