Cagayan de Oro City reported 12 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Tuesday, January 5.
In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged a total of 12 new cases as of 10 PM yesterday, one of which is a local cases with link, one local APOR, and ten local index cases.
With this, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the city are at 2,880.
Out of the cumulative total, 253 are active cases, 87 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 161 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and five cases under the ROF/LSI category.
Dr. Nery also announced 22 new recoveries and no new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,481 and 146, respectively.
Of the cumulative total, 403 are under the LSI/ROF category, with five active cases, one death (ROF), and 397 recovered.
Meanwhile, local cases rise to 2,477 with 161 active cases, 145 deaths, and 2,084 recoveries.
