MANILA, PHILIPPINES — On Monday, the Binibining Pilipinas (BBP) organization released its list of Top 40 candidates for the 2023 roster.

BBP unveiled the official photos and names of the women who will vie for different titles for the 2023 Binibining Pilipinas Pageant. The announcement comes a month after the organization opened its applications for aspiring Filipina beauty queens.

The candidates will compete for three crowns and represent the Philippines in the following international pageants:

• Miss International
• Miss Intercontinental
• Miss Globe

At the moment, the title holders are:

• Binibining Pilipinas International Nicole Borromeo, yet to compete at Miss International 2023
• Binibing Pilipinas Intercontinental Gabrielle Camille Basiano, Top 20 at Miss Intercontinental 2022 in Egypt
• Binibining Pilipinas Globe Chelsea Fernandez, Top 15 at The Miss Globe 2022 in Albania
• Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2022 Roberta Angela Tamondong, 5th Runner Up Miss Grand International 2022

Since the BPCI withdrew from the Miss Grand International pageant, Tamondong will not be passing her crown. However, the beauty queen may still grace the stage for the 2023 BBP pageant.

The national pageant organization has yet to reveal details about the 2023 Binibining Pilipinas coronation night. – WhatALife!
