Actress and performer Belle Mariano recently performed her birthday concert, “Believe,” last Saturday, July 13, 2024, at The Theatre at Solaire.

Belle stunned fans with her performances, where she sang and danced simultaneously. Fans were even more shocked and excited when her on-screen partner, Donny Pangilinan, appeared on stage. 

Better known together as “DonBelle,” the duo performed “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” inspired by the notable movie, “Dirty Dancing.” Fans felt their chemistry and continued to be ecstatic throughout the birthday concert.

What made fans cheer in joy even more was when Donny began to play the piano as he and Belle sang a few songs. Numerous clips of these moments have gone viral since. During this segment, they performed BINI’s “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi” and “You’ll Be Safe Here.”

Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano weren’t the only ones who took the stage during the “Believe” concert. Other notable Philippine artists such as Martin Nievera, Moira Dela Torre, and Denise Julia graced the stage.

Denise Julia is known for various R&B tracks, including “B.A.D.,” which she and Belle performed on-stage. Fans were shocked to see Belle Mariano dance to the viral song.

Since the concert’s success, Belle continues to reflect on her dreams and fate. She considers the concert to be one of the highlights of her life. The performer shares that “Hindi ko siya na-visualize. It was too grand for me.”

She added, “I used to sing in the videoke with my lolo, and it feels like I’m not just fulfilling my dream, I’m also fulfilling his.” 

Belle also shared that she took a lot of time to prepare for “Believe,” so her self-confidence grew. “The process of the concert made me believe in myself. This marks a growth of who I am in the industry.”

Post-”Believe,” Belle wants to introduce a more mature approach to her music and storytelling. 

Moreover, singer Moira Dela Torre had a few teasers for fans that left them wondering about Belle and Donny’s real-life status. This is because fans have speculated that “Little World Changer,” is for Donny.
