Fans of the noontime show “It’s Showtime” were treated to a surprise when Atty. Oliver Moeller, known as the “sporty lawyer ng Cebu” and a former contestant of the segment “EXpecially for You,” appeared on the program. 

His unexpected visit stirred curiosity among viewers, especially after he received playful teasing from the hosts, notably Vice Ganda.

During an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News backstage, Moeller expressed his gratitude for the unexpected attention he received following his guesting. 

He admitted feeling overwhelmed by the response, particularly the online buzz and trending status of his appearance.

Reflecting on his sudden popularity, Moeller acknowledged the possibility of exploring opportunities in showbiz, considering his positive reception. 

He indicated openness to broadening his horizons and expanding his network in Manila.

When directly asked about his interest in pursuing a career in showbiz, Moeller revealed that he is seriously considering the idea, citing his current visit as a step in that direction.

One aspect of Moeller’s appearance that caught the public’s attention was his interaction with “Showtime” host Kim Chiu. 

Speculation arose regarding their chemistry on-screen, with some fans suggesting a potential romantic interest from Moeller’s side.

Addressing the rumors, Moeller acknowledged his admiration for Chiu, describing her as a “pretty person” and noting their shared Cebuano background. 

However, when pressed about whether he is courting Chiu, Moeller remained discreet, stating that discussing such matters wouldn’t be fair without her consent.

“I don’t think it’s fair that I speak about that without her permission. Sorry, I hope you understand. Kim is pretty nice,” Moeller commented, respecting Chiu’s privacy.

Moeller’s appearance on “It’s Showtime” has undoubtedly sparked intrigue among fans, who eagerly await further developments regarding his potential ventures in showbiz and his relationship with Kim Chiu.
