MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Anne Curtis will return to the noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ after ABS-CBN PR releases a teaser video on Wednesday, May 18.
The network took to social media platforms to share a 15-seconds video clip teasing the return of the actress by saying “Abang-ANNE.”
However, the released video teaser did not contain further details regarding the exact date of her return to the show.
After the teaser release, her fans showed their support, expressed their excitement, and cheered on the actress to welcome her back.
In March this year, Anne had a reunion dinner with her ‘It’s Showtime’ family hosts Vice Ganda, Teddy Corpuz, Ion Perez, Amy Perez, Karylle Tatlonghari, Ryan Bang, Jackie Gonzaga, Kim Chiu, Jugs Jugueta, and Vhong Navarro.
On Teddy’s post on his Instagram page, the noontime show’s executives, alongside the network’s chief operating officer Cory Vidanes were also present at the reunion.
Since December 2019, Anne has been on a break from hosting as she was an expectant mother during that time.
When her daughter, Dahlia, turned one year old, she had initially planned on returning to her career in television and film. However, the sudden increase in COVID-19 cases in Australia and the Philippines resulted in her plans being delayed several times.
Aside from her return in television, she will also be holding her comeback concert called “Luv-ANNE.”
The concert they originally scheduled last April 30 will now be set live in front of the audience this coming June.
Anne shared the details of her concert last April 8 on her Instagram account. She expressed excitement to her followers and fans by posting a poster with her photo and detailed information.
Her fans, fellow celebrities, her sister Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and best friends Solenn Heussaff and Angel Locsin also shared their excitement for her comeback concert through the comment section. – WhatALife!
