A psychologist hired by the representatives of Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp testified on April 26 that Heard suffers from twin personality disorders.

Shannon Curry, a clinical and forensic psychologist, examined Heard’s mental health records in December 2021 and personally evaluated her for twelve hours over two days that month.

Curry stated her opinion that Heard, a 36 years old actress, has a borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder.

She also added that Heard’s obtained scores during the evaluation are consistent, which results in her professional diagnosis.

During a lengthy cross-examination, Heard’s lawyers questioned Curry’s testimony, emphasizing the fact that Depp’s attorneys hired her to testify on his behalf.

Elaine Bredehoft, an attorney for Heard, then asked a question, “If you did not find something that would be in favor of Mr. Depp and negative to Miss Heard, then you wouldn’t be an expert in this case?”

“I present science regardless of what that science may be,” Curry said in response to the given question.

Curry discussed the most prevailing characteristics of borderline personality disorder, including a tendency to be “self-righteous,” a “lot of inner anger and hostility,” and “fluctuating moods.”

Curry, known to have experience treating US combat veterans, said she believed that the actress did not suffer post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from the alleged domestic abuse. 

Upon Curry’s observance during the given test, she added that Heard had only “exaggerated” her symptoms.

Depp, a 58 years old actor, has denied ever being physically abusive towards Heard, and repeatedly claimed that she was the one who was frequently violent.

“Tell them, ‘I, Johnny Depp, a man, I’m a victim too of domestic violence,’ and see how many people believe or side with you,” Heard said on an audio recording presented to the court room on the last day of the defamation suit trial that he filed. – WhatALife!
