The newest addition to SB19’s ninangs is McDonald’s Philippines. In the fandom, ninang is a term they use to refer to their official sponsors. With this, an official TV commercial and song has been released by the boy band.

The official commercial was released less than a day ago. It starts with leader Pablo saying, “Anong Atin? Chicken McDo!” This is a nod to their fans who they refer to as A’TIN. The new ad promotes the new fried chicken recipe from the fast food chain.

This new recipe claims to have bigger cuts, crispier and juicier flavors, and overall better. McDonald’s Philippines teased this collaboration a few days ago. In this post, they showed a picture of the boy band with their backs to the camera.

McDo’s assistant vice president for Corporate Relations and Impact shared, “We’re ecstatic to welcome SB19 to the McDonald’s Philippines family. To have this supergroup join us in showing love for our much bigger, much juicier, much crispier, and much sulit Chicken McDo is very exciting.”

She further added, “It’s a great collaboration, and we look forward to working with SB19 in delivering more feel-good moments to our customers all over the country. Definitely, there’s much more to look forward to this campaign.”

Since its launch, fans have been replying to McDo’s online posts. Fans have shared their excitement and inquiries with this collaboration. One fan wrote, “Waiting na lang po kami sa photocards and SB19 meals.”

To this, McDo’s official account replied, “Abangan and posts ni ninang 😉” teasing upcoming promos and meals.

As of this writing, the #AtinToChickenMcDo has been trending with over sixty thousand posts on X (formerly Twitter).

Since the official release, A’TIN thanked McDo for working with the boys and praised the concept of the ad.

The campaign’s centerpiece is McDonald’s one-piece Chicken McDo Sulit Busog Meal. It includes rice and a drink for only P99, available in stores nationwide.
