After nearly five years of hiatus, American singer Adele is set to drop her highly-anticipated comeback album, starting with her track single Easy On Me on Friday, October 15. And boy, you will need lots of tissue!

Alongside the heartbreaking ballad, the multi-time Grammy winner also released a cinematic black-and-white music video.

After officially parting ways with ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2019, the theme of this new record is clear: “Divorce, babe, divorce,” which she previously said it herself on Instagram Live, Elle Magazine reported. The 33-year-old singer perfectly captured the melancholic vibe on the track, exploring both despair and healing. 

“And there is hope in these waters, but I can’t bring myself to swim when I am drowning,” she sings in one verse.
