MANILA — Some local government units (LGUs) have decided to have suspended classes or walang pasok today, September 13 (Friday), due to bad weather brought by the southwest monsoon or habagat.
Classes at all levels in the following areas have been suspended:
Antique
- Anini-y
- Barbaza
- Belison
- Pandan (no face-to-face classes)
- Patnongon
- San Remigio (no face-to-face classes)
- Sebaste- Tobias Fornier
- Valderrama
- Malapatan, Sarangani
Occidental Mindoro:
- Calintaan
- Looc- Magsaysay
- Mamburao
- Paluan- Rizal
- San Jose
- Santa Cruz
Talisay, Negros Occidental
Classes from elementary to high school, both public and private, are also suspended in the following areas:
Antique:
- Bugasong
- Caluya
- Culasi
- Hamtic
- Libertad
- Sibalom
- Tibiao
State weather bureau PAGASA said monsoon rains caused by habagat is expected over Palawan, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, BARMM, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Soccksargen in the next 24 hour.
Flash floods or landslides are also possible due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
