Viy Cortez launches a new podcast with her sisters-in-law as the first guest. In Off Beat episode 1, Viy, Vien Iligan, and Pat Velasquez discuss their family life.

In the podcast, they talk about more than just their family. They also mention their dynamics as friends. Moreover, Viy Cortez addresses Reddit posts that are against her. There are multiple comments about the vlogger and how she presents herself physically.

Various Viy Cortez old pictures are seen on the internet. A few of the comments against her include that despite her facial enhancements, she’s still “maasim.”

She addressed these comments by saying, “Alam mo, nakikita kong nagsimula ‘yan nung nakikita nila na medyo naalagaan ko na ang sarili ko. Kasi maraming tao ang hindi nakakalagpas sa ganung era ng buhay nila. Ngayon, pag nakikita nila sa iba’t parang, ‘ba’t ito umookay siya?’ parang ibabalik mo naman na ‘hmm ganyan ka naman kahit anong gawin mo. Hindi nabibili ng pera ang class, may ganon pa sila eh.”

Viy Cortez adds, “So, ako naman, basta ako, ‘yung mga ganong issue hindi ko na siya parang isipin. Kasi ang mga iniisip ko na ngayon pang ibang level na. Parang paano ko babayaran ‘yung pinapainstall ko na pinto. Alam mo ba ‘yung ganon? So, hindi ko na siya iniisip kung ano ‘yung tingin niyo saakin.”

After this, she shares how much her husband, Cong, appreciates her daily. 

Viy then asks them what their other life aspirations are. Pat, Cong’s sister, responds that she wants to pursue a degree in medicine. Currently, Pat Velasquez’s age is 28. She further mentions how thankful she is for her husband for offering to pay for her schooling when she wants to return.

Regarding Mavi’s viral clip of him saying “Nakakaawa naman ako!” Vien explains that he was starting to hurt other kids. She explained to him that people who hurt others go to jail, and that was his consequence. Vien also clarified that she understood Mavi’s response to the situation, but he should be responsible for his actions.
