Julius Manalo, a FIlipino Police man who recently found his mother after 31 years had a sit-down interview with Toni Gonzaga and left her emotional.

The emotional reunion was made possible through a series of fortunate connections and a relentless search that began when Julius was just six years old.

Born in Korea, Julius lived with his mother until the age of six, when he was taken to the Philippines under the pretense of a short trip.

His father and relatives assured him he would return home, but that promise was never fulfilled.

Julius went on to share that he grew up grappling with the absence of his mother, often reflecting on cherished memories of her embrace.

Throughout his life, Julius held onto the hope of finding her.

He embarked on numerous searches, utilizing early internet resources and social media to reach out to anyone who might help. Despite these efforts yielding little success over the years, he never lost faith.

The breakthrough came when Julius’s mother-in-law met a Korean water installer who connected him to a producer from a Korean television show.

This producer took an interest in his story and agreed to help him find his mother.

After several months of searching and posting Julius’s mother’s picture on the show, they finally received a lead from one of her high school friends in Los Angeles.

With determination and support from the show’s team, they eventually located Julius’s mother in Korea.

For Julius, this journey was not just about finding his mother but also about healing old wounds and embracing his identity.
