In yesterday’s It’s Showtime Kalokalike segment, Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis created new highlights for fans. In her rare return to the program, Anne and Vice playfully bickered about a word Anne can’t remember to describe a parenting situation.
It’s Showtime’s Kalokalike, a segment in which normal Filipinos go on the show to showcase their celebrity lookalike. If the audience deems them a true lookalike, they can win twenty thousand pesos.

In the acting segment, Joey Estevez (a Jericha Rosales lookalike) played a long-lost father. Anne plays the mother who hides her son (Darren Espanto) from his true father (Estevez). Vice, on the other hand, portrayed Estevez’s current partner, who didn’t know he had a child.
While delivering their lines, Anne couldn’t remember the right word to describe the situation. This resulted in the Showtime hosts and contestants appearing to play a game of charades with her.
Vice Ganda even joked, “Bakit pumasok ka pa ngayon? Bumalik ka kapag alam mo na ‘yan.”
She further added, “Hindi ‘yung minsan ka lang papasok dito– minsan ka lang papasok ‘tas pahihirapan mo kami.”
Vice even brought Anne behind the LED screens and playfully shut them on Anne.

“Minsan ka lang papasok rito, pahihirapan mo pa kami mag-isip ng bagay na hindi namin maintidihan. Ilang salita na ang sinabi namin pero wala kaming nasampit na kahit ano mang tama sa iniisip mo. Sino ang makakaalam ng laman ng utak mo? Wala!” Vice added.
When Anne remembered the word, Vice said that she couldn’t go out if it weren’t the right one. Vice even had the confetti go down when her co-host finally figured out the right term. Turns out, she meant “Inaaruga.”
The Filipino TV show celebrated its fifteenth anniversary and held the most recent It’s Showtime Magpasikat 2024 competition. Kim Chiu’s team won this year and donated their winnings to the Angat Buhay Foundation.
