13 people were confirmed dead following the nonstop rains and floods brought by Tropical Storm Enteng, according to the official reports from disaster response agencies.
In Antipolo City, Head of the Antipolo Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Relly Bernardo emphasizes that 7 people were killed. Reports confirmed that 3 died from landslides, while 4 died from separate drowning incidents. Bernardo also stated that the landslide victims included a 27-year-old pregnant woman and two children.

In a separate report, two people died in a landslide in Cebu City, and a father and a son died in Northern Samar. Moreover, in the Bicol region, Naga City police stated that an 8-month-old baby had passed away. The report stated the baby was found floating in a flooded bedroom. She was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
An individual who was identified as “Juancho” was found dead, with the cause being electrocution while checking his flooded shop. In related news, rescue operations are still ongoing in the search for three missing fishermen. Their names are Fidelino Amboy, Ernesto Ayaton, and Lorenzo Gasque.
Lastly, official reports confirmed that at least 1,395 families were affected by floods and critical weather brought by Tropical Storm Enteng.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the tropical storm is expected to intensify to severe levels on September 2. Enteng made landfall over the vicinity of Casiguran, Aurora. Further news also stated that Tropical Storm Enteng veins moving over the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
The latest weather update for Tropical Storm Enteng includes moderate to heavy rain (50-100 mm) on Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur. Additionally, reports inform the same for the northern part of Palawan. Intense rain (100-200 mm) is expected in Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro.
When will Enteng leave? Reports state that the storm will travel toward the South China Sea between September 3 and 8. Tropical Storm Enteng also resulted in the government suspending classes and work in different regions, including Metro Manila.
