Since most kids choose him, the Voice Kids Philippines coaches team up against Stell. Most kids choose the championing judge, especially when it comes to four-chair turns. This happened after Niña Ardiente chose him after Stell turned at the last minute.

The new season of The Voice Kids Philippines 2024 is on its first run on the GMA Network. The three episodes to date showcase the contestants’ auditions and who they chose as their coaches. Over the past few installments, there have been lots of comedic highlights.

After being chosen by another four-chair turner contestant, the other The Voice Kids Philippines coaches jokingly plotted against him. “May balak ba kayo magbago ng members ng SB19?” Billy asked Pablo.

The leader replied, “Actually, kinoconsider ko ‘yun matagal na eh. Kasi, hindi na ako natutuwa eh.” After that, the three judges dispersed as SB19 Stell tried to approach them. “Huwag na tayong sumali dito,” Pablo joked. The clip then shows Stell crouching in the corner like a child.

A few weeks back, an auditionee, Macmac, chose Stell when he wasn’t the only one who turned for him. Macmac ended up choosing another SB19 member and leader, Pablo. In last night’s episode, Stell turned last minute for Niña Ardiente, an eleven-year-old from Lanao del Norte.

Niña sang “Banal Na Aso” for her audition. Coaches Pablo, Billy, and Julie quickly turned for her, wanting the youngling on their team. At the last minute, Stell turned his chair as Niña wrapped up her audition.

Due to her talent, Julie Ann San Jose, one of The Voice Kids Philippines judges, said, “Ngayon pa lang, isa kang superstar.”

When it came to Billy’s turn, he jokingly said, “Huwag mong pillin si Stell, utang na loob kasi nasa dulo na. Tapos siya pa ‘yung huli.” To his defense, Stell said, “Umikot ako kasi deserve niya ng four chairs.” 

Because he was in awe of her talent, Stell smashed the “I Want You” button on the last note. When it was time to choose her coach, there was an extended wait for Niña to make her choice. Ultimately, she ended up working with Stell.
