Irish rock band The Script has officially announced a stop in Manila for their ‘Satellites World Tour’ on February 25, 2025. The concert, presented by Midas Promotions and Wilbros Live, will take place at the Araneta Coliseum. Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 10 AM on August 10, 2024, through TicketNet.com.ph and TicketNet outlets nationwide.
This isn’t the first time that The Script has held a concert in Manila. The last time the band was on Philippine soil was in September 2022 for their Greatest Hits Tour.

The Script currently consists of Danny O’Donoghue (vocalist), Glen Power (drummer), Benjamin Sargent (bassist), and Ben Weaver (guitarist). Mark Sheehan was also part of the band until he died in 2023.
After reuniting for select shows in 2023, the band is set to take on a larger stage with their world tour. They will perform for over 2 million fans across the globe, starting at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium on August 12.
The band will perform songs from their highly anticipated new album, Satellites, which features their new hit, Both Ways. They’ll also play fan favorites from their previous albums, including ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,’ ‘Breakeven,’ ‘For the First Time,’ and ‘Hall of Fame.’

In a previous interview, Power said, “We’re The Script, and now we have something to prove: that there is life and light after the darkness.” This is in reference to paying tribute to their friend, Sheehan, by continuing the band they had built together.
After Sheehan’s death, O’Donoghue returned to the studio and experimented in a number of ways. This resulted in ‘Satellites,’ an uplifting collection of songs that establishes the new beginning of The Script while remembering Sheehan.
