Streaming platform Netflix has released a behind-the-scenes clip to promote the upcoming series Wednesday: Season 2. The clip showcases scenes in which actress Jenny Ortega returns to play the titular role of Wednesday Addams.
“This season is going to be bigger and more twisted than you can ever imagine,” the video teased. It also shows director Tim Burton working on the scene alongside the rest of the Wednesday Season 2 cast. Actors returning for the second season include Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Joy Sunday, and Emma Myers.

The latest teaser also shows different scenes being filmed, including Wednesday arriving on campus with her typical deadpan expression, Nevermore students gathering in a field, and Thing snooping around.
“If we showed you any more, your eyes would bleed, and I’m not that generous,” The voice of Wednesday stated within the video.
The “Wednesday” series premiered on Netflix in November 2022 and is a spin-off of the “Addams Family” franchise. The first season became one of the platform’s most successful series at the time, which led to the show’s renewal for a new season.

Throughout the first season, Wednesday struggles with her developing psychic abilities as she investigates a string of murders connected to a monster that is terrorizing the local community. As she delves deeper into the mystery, she uncovers links to her family’s dark history and confronts various threats.
Promotional content for ‘Wednesday: Season 2’ ensures fans there will be more scares, humor, and more profound mysteries to uncover. While there is no confirmation on the ‘Wednesday: Season 2’ release date on Netflix, the news did confirm that the season will premier on the platform in 2025.
