SB19’s “Pagtatag Documentary” Heading to International Cinemas

After achieving box office success as the highest-grossing Filipino documentary film, SB19’s “Pagtatag Documentary” heads to international cinemas. This includes Hong Kong, Dubai, Singapore, and more!

After its limited screening from August 28 to September 1 in Philippine cinemas, the “Pagtatag Documentary” will be released in other countries. The documentary showcases the boy group’s “Pagtatag” era. It is named after their extended play or EP of the same name, which came after SB19’s “Pagsibol.”

Once the official date for their documentary was announced, fans hurriedly tried to secure “Pagtatag Documentary” tickets. Moreover, multiple fan groups across the country held block screenings to make it a shared experience. During these screenings, fans shared various freebies with fellow A’TIN.



Fans also had free SB19 photocards for every movie ticket purchased at cinemas.

Aside from being the Kings of P-pop, SB19 reached new heights with their vulnerable documentary. In an X (formerly Twitter) post, their official account said, “We officially made history as the highest-grossing Filipino documentary film to date!”

“Thank you, A’TIN, for your unwavering support and for making this milestone possible. This achievement is for all of us! Let’s continue to reach greater heights together!”

After the documentary, they held a fan fest where members Justin and Stell surprised them with an appearance.

Since then, officials have announced online screenings. These include:

  • Hong Kong
    • September 18 – Premier Elements House 11.
    • September 22 – MoViE MoViE Pacific Place (Admirality) House 5, Palace IFC Central House 3, and Gala Cinema Langham Place House 6.
    • September 29 – MoViE MoViE City Plaza House 2.
  • Dubai
    • September 21 – Star Cinemas, House 3
  • Singapore
    • October 13 – The Projector, Cineleisure


SB19’s official post also says it’s coming to US and Canadian cinemas soon too.

Moreover, the group will also be celebrating its sixth anniversary with Dunkin Donuts. They’re holding a two-night concert at the Araneta Coliseum on October 26 and 27.
