The Kings of P-Pop SB19 stopped by the Philippine Embassy in South Korea after their Billboard Korea performance. They performed at the event with the Nation’s Girl Group, BINI.

During the event, SB19 performed their biggest hit to date, “GENTO.” They delivered a rendition of the song for last year’s Asia Artist Awards (AAA) appearance. Additionally, various Billboard official TikTok accounts from different countries posted their performance on the platform.

The SB19 members are NCCA-appointed Youth Ambassadors. They are also the face of Sentro Rizal, the library they visited in the embassy.

The official Sentro Rizal website says they chose the boy group because of their willingness to support the organization’s endeavors. Additionally, SB19 was selected because of their genuine care for advocacies that uplift the Filipino spirit, music, and culture.

The “Kalakal” singers were also the first Southeast Asian group nominated for the Billboard Music Awards. On top of this, they’re also the first Southeast Asian act to appear in the Billboard Social 50.

Aside from SB19’s Billboard Korea appearance, the members have other performances to watch out for. In addition to their solo events, they have an upcoming SB19 Dunkin Donuts concert to commemorate their sixth anniversary as a group.

The tickets for the concert quickly sold out in a day due to physical queueing. However, Dunkin Donuts teased Day 2 for those who couldn’t secure a ticket for October 24. Official announcements have yet to be made.

Moreover, the SB19 “Pagtatag” documentary wrapped in Philippine cinemas yesterday, September 1. The film was limitedly screened in selected cinemas across the country. It will also soon hit Southeast Asian countries like Hong Kong, so international fans don’t need to worry.

The documentary discussed their most recent EP, “Pagtatag,” and the struggles that came with it. Fans know that it was one of the group’s toughest times. During that period, SB19 wasn’t allowed to use their group name due to conflicts with their former management.
