The fast food franchise has also partnered with the boy band before. For starters, McDonald’s was one of the sponsors for their two-day “Pagtatag Finale Concert.” However, the announcement has yet to be officially made.

The Philippine Pop or P-pop act is known for referring to its sponsors as “ninang.” This is often seen in their posts and announcements as they thank them during events.
Various fans expressed their excitement online about the in-store promos and the song. The group is also known for its brand jingles, which fans enjoy. However, fans also expressed concern for the Mahalima or SB19. It is a term their fans endearingly call them, which is a shortcut for “mahal ang lima.”
Concerns have arisen due to recent international controversies involving the McDonald’s franchise. Following donations from franchised branches in Israel to the army, consumers worldwide have initiated a boycott of the brand.
As a result, the fast-food chain has experienced a significant decline in sales since the pandemic began in 2020. Moreover, fans are worried about the potential impact this situation could have on their favorite boy group.

Another comments, “I feel sad for A’tindo, they’re all disappointed. I hope in some way 1ZZ or the team can release a statement acknowledging their feelings about it.”
On the other hand, another fan reassured fellow stans that the boys are mindful of their endorsements.
Furthermore, ever since the announcement, fans and casuals have been buzzing about the collaboration between Mcdonald’s Philippines and SB19.
