Philippine Pop or P-Pop powerhouse SB19 is set to make another The First Take (TFT) Appearance. The group previously performed their hit song “Gento,” and fans online are busy speculating about the next song.

The First Take is a YouTube channel where multiple international artists come into a quiet white room and perform their hits in just one take. The boy band was the first Southeast Asian Group to do this, adding to their list of achievements for P-Pop.

In its initial release, A’tin (SB19 fans) wondered if they were only performing one song. However, TFT posted a teaser of the group’s next performance on X (formerly Twitter) last night.

Since the announcement, fans have been speculating which SB19 song they will perform. Numerous fans hope the group will sing one of their ballads. Either ILAW, LIHAM, or MAPA.

There’s no denying that the group had its fair share of struggles. Their leader, SB19 Pablo, and other members Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin shared that they were ready to disband in 2019. However, things took a turn for the better, and in 2021, they were set on world domination.

When their first video went viral, the members themselves were in disbelief. Their dance practice video for “Go Up” went viral because of a single tweet (posted on X, when it was once Twitter) that appreciated the boys’ talents.

Since then, a single tweet changed the course of SB19’s career, and they even received multiple sponsorships and awards. Now, they’re nominated for a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2024 as Favorite Asian Act. Other nominees include ENHYPEN, Tiara Andini, NiziU, and Iman Troye.

On the other hand, some fans are hoping the group will not perform one of their ballads. Many A’tin are also sharing online that they want to hear the group perform MANA live or I WANT YOU.
