Sabrina Carpenter makes an appearance on Saturday Night Live’s 50th Anniversary special, joining Domingo in a banquet fiasco sketch.
The skit is called “Vow Renewal,” a follow-up on the October 12, 2024 sketch “Bridesmaid Speech.”
The “Bridesmaid Speech” skit reveals that the bride, Kelsey (Chloe Fineman), cheated on her now-husband, Matt (Andrew Dismukes), with a man named Domingo during her bachelorette party in Charleston.
The revelation was told by Ariana Grande, Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, and Sarah Sherman in an off-key rendition of Carprenter’s hit Espresso. In a twist of scenario, Domingo crashed the wedding banquet himself.
In “Vow Renewal,” the Espresso singer portrays Kelsey’s best friend who led the bridal party.
Similar to the previous sketch, Carpenter and other ladies paid tribute to their friend by singing a chaotic rendition of Defying Gravity and Taylor Swift’s You Belong With Me that reveals Domingo is still in the picture.
But the chaos doesn’t end there, as Matt’s friends (played by Bowen Yang, Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett, and Andy Samberg) reveal the groom’s involvement with a gay man named Renaldo (Pedro Pascal), who turned out to be one of Domingo’s brothers.

Bad Bunny also appeared as Santiago, Domingo’s other “hot brother” who had intercourse with the bride’s mom (Molly Shannon).
It can be recalled that the October 2024 skit got viral on SNL’s YouTube and Tiktok, with Hernández’s iconic line being, “Kelsey’s a friend, she’s like my sis, but we did hook-up though.”
Carpenter onced expressed her support on the skit, finding it “very nice and on pitch.”
In November, “Domingo” made a surprise appearance by getting “arrested” at the pop star’s Short n’ Sweet Tour in Los Angeles.
In the concert, Hernández made a hilarious nod to his character by saying: “Sabrina’s a friend, she’s like my sis, but I would hook-up though.”
