Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy Faces Legal Charges in the Philippines After BGC Incident

Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy faces criminal charges in the Philippines. 

On April 7, 2025, Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla confirmed that Zdorovetskiy would not be deported but would face legal action for his behavior.

Zdorovetskiy, known for provocative pranks, was arrested on April 2, 2025, after videos of him harassing locals in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) went viral. 

He was seen stealing security caps, insulting people, and riding a patrol motorcycle without permission.



At a press briefing, Remulla emphasized that Zdorovetskiy would not receive special treatment and must answer for his actions under Philippine law. 

He stated, “Hindi po namin siya ide-deport. Mananagot siya sa batas dito sa Pilipinas.”

Remulla said Zdorovetskiy would be held accountable under Philippine law. 

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) labeled him an “undesirable alien.”



He is currently detained at a Bureau of Immigration facility in Muntinlupa City.

The government is firm about holding foreigners accountable for actions that disrespect Filipinos.
