2. Fill Out the Required Form.
Read All Instructions Carefully.

- Provide your personal information carefully:
- Last Name: Enter your surname as it appears on your application.
- First Name: Input your first name without any abbreviations.
- Extension Name: Add suffixes like Jr., Sr., or III, if applicable. Leave this blank if none.
- Middle Initial: Enter only the first letter of your middle name (no periods).
- Date of Birth: Use the format MM/DD/YYYY (e.g., 01/15/1995).
3. Provide Examination Details.
- Enter the necessary information about your exam:
- Date of the Exam: Specify the exact date of your scheduled examination.
- Type of Exam: Indicate whether you are taking the Professional or Sub-Professional level exam.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
- WEARING OF FACE MASKS SHALL BE OPTIONAL/VOLUNTARY.
- NO I.D. CARD/DOCUMENT, NO EXAM.
- Be at the testing venue not later than 6:30 a.m., or as required by the CSC Regional/Field Offices concerned, for the preliminary activities.
- Wear proper attire on examination day, preferably plain white shirt/tops. Examinees wearing SLEEVELESS SHIRT/BLOUSE SHORTS/SHORT PANTS, TOKONG PANTS, RIPPED JEANS, and SLIPPERS will NOT be ALLOWED to enter the exam venue. Also, long hair must be tied. Examinees are encouraged to use transparent bags.
THINGS TO BRING ON EXAMINATION DAY:
1. I.D. CARD (original) – Preferably the same I.D. card presented during the filing of application. If I.D. card has no date of birth, examinees should also bring the original of the Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority, or the Local Civil Registry.
2. BLACK BALL PEN/s (NOTE: Only BLACK BALL PEN shall be used in the examination. Pencils and any other kinds of pen such as gel pen. sign pen. fountain pen. friction pen. etc. including other colors of ball pen are not allowed.)
3. PERSONAL ALCOHOL/HAND SANITIZER (not more than 100 ml in size)
Examiners may also opt to bring water in a clear/transparent container, and/or candies/biscuits, which shall be inspected by the Room Examiner/Proctor.
Examination Coverage
The examination will cover various topics, including:
1. Professional Level – In English and Filipino
- Numerical Ability (Basic Operations; Word Problems)
- Analytical Ability (Word Association – identifying assumptions and conclusions; Logic; Data Interpretation)
- Verbal Ability (Grammar and Correct Usage; Vocabulary; Paragraph Organization; Reading Comprehension)
2. Subprofessional Level – In English and Filipino
- Numerical Ability (Basic Operations; Word Problems)
- Clerical Ability (Filing; Spelling)
- Verbal Ability (Grammar and Correct Usage; Vocabulary; Paragraph Organization; Reading Comprehension)
Number of Items
- The Professional level will consist of 170 items, to be completed in 3 hours and 10 minutes.
- The Subprofessional level will have 165 items, with a time limit of 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Candidates are advised to arrive at the examination center at least one hour before the test begins.
Passing Criteria
To pass the examination, candidates must achieve an overall score of at least 80%.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will release the official list of passers for the March 2025 Civil Service Examination (CSE-PPT) within 60 days after the exam date.
This means that examinees can expect the results to be announced around May 10, 2025.
