Priscilla Meirelles Claps Back at John Estrada’s Marriage Claims

Filipino actor John Estrada announced via an Instagram story that he and his wife Priscilla Meirelles have decided to take a break. However, Priscilla contradicted his statement by sharing her own perspective.

He states, “Priscilla and I have mutually agreed to take a break for quite some time now. There’s more to the story but the last thing I want to do is to hurt the people I love. I want to make it clear that I am not in a relationship with Lily Hallman or any other woman for that matter. I just met her in Boracay. I had a short break from work and felt the need for a breather. This is a private family matter that’s why I ask for privacy as we deal with this. Thank you!”

Priscilla Meirelles via Instagram stories that she considered herself married to John when she left the Philippines. And still believed so until he released his statement.



The former Miss Earth queen is currently in Brazil with her and John’s daughter, Anechka. She explains that she is visiting family to take some time for herself. She mentions, “I’m just taking this time away to spend time with my family and show my daughter around, to rewind because there’s a lot of things I’d like to think, to plan my life what’s gonna happen next because sometimes it’s better for you to take yourself out of the situation.”

The beauty queen added, “So, that you can take clearing, do the things that you need to do to clear your mind and heart.”

Although Priscilla has already released her personal statement on the matter, she acknowledges that now is not the time to share specifics. Despite the current state of her marriage, she remains optimistic and believes everything will be resolved in due time.



Priscilla Meirelles also went live on Facebook to express her feelings about the situation. During the stream, she said, “I’m just so blessed I’m able to do all that all the way here in Brazil and in the U.S. Because sometimes it’s better for you to take yourself out of the situation. So that you can think clearly, so that you can do the things that you need to do with a clear mind and heart.”
