Multiple big names are going out of their way to help out the victims affected by Typhoon Kristine.
Members of the girl group BINI, for instance, have organized a donation drive under the initiative “BINIyanihan.”
“Actually, we were planning naman talagang magkaroon ng donation drive for Christmas, pero ngayon nga, hindi natin inaasahan na nagkaroon ng bagyo,” BINI group leader Jhoanna explained.

“Mas kailangan nila ‘yung tulong namin ngayon, so nagtulong-tulong po yung Blooms Philippines, ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya, and ‘yung mga brands po na ine-endorse po namin para mas madami po ma-collect namin at maibigay sa mga nangangailangan,” she added.
1Z Entertainment, the company representing the P-pop group SB19, also shared that they will begin receiving donations for Typhoon Kristine victims at the Araneta Coliseum.
“In partnership with A’TIN, we will be at the Yellow Gate, Araneta Coliseum on Oct 26-27 (10 AM to 3 PM) to accept in-kind donations for #KristinePH victims,” the agency stated.
On the other hand, Kapamilya actor Donny Pangilinan puts a more hands-on approach by personally delivering relief goods to the Angat Buhay office.
“Heartfelt thanks to Donny Pangilinan for personally delivering relief goods at the Angat Buhay office,” Angat Buhay said in the post.

Asia’s Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo also lent a helping hand by launching a donation drive under her G Studio PH. She partnered with South Trading Post and Angat Buhay for her efforts.
In related news, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) advised that Typhoon Kristine will exit the Philippines on October 25.
However, it also advised that parts of the country will continue to experience moderate to heavy rainfall.
