The devastation caused by Typhoon Carina has resulted in flooding in parts of the “Pinoy Big Brother” house. Alex Asuncion, the Business Unit Head, confirmed that the floodwaters did not extend to other areas.
AMJ Felipe shared a video on Twitter/X showing the situation, revealing that the male housemates’ bedroom and the garden area are among the affected spaces in the Quezon City house.

Fortunately, Asuncion mentioned in an interview that both housemates and staff were safe and not in danger. The unit head also expressed that the thoughts and prayers of the PPB team are with those impacted by Typhoon Carina.
“Nakikiisa ang housemates at PBB staff sa pagdadasal para sa mga nasalanta at naapektuhan ng Bagyong Carina,” said Asuncion.
Once the floodwaters receded, the PPB team conducted a thorough check to ensure that the rest of the Pinoy Big Brother house remained dry. The PBB team is committed to supporting the growing number of celebrities affected by the typhoon.

Recently, renowned actor Gerald Anderson gained attention for his involvement in typhoon rescue efforts. Actress-turned-politician Aiko Melendez recounted how the flood swept away her son’s car.
Meanwhile, actor Michael de Mesa spent 24 hours trapped in his car, highlighting the plight of thousands who were stranded due to the flooding. In response to the devastation, President Marcos is considering new flood control measures for the capital.
As of this writing, the housemates in the Pinoy Big Brother house will need to find temporary accommodations.
