Celebrity couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes were spotted helping to repack relief goods for victims of Typhoon Carina. Along with her glam team, they provided 700 packages to support those in need.
GMA artist Barbie Forteza recently took to her Instagram to share her thoughts, stating, “Kaisa ang SPARKLE sa paghahatid ng tulong…” Along with her message, she included a QR code and bank account details for netizens to donate to support displaced citizens.
Jennlyn Mercado is relaunching Star Truck PH, a donation drive she originally started with her husband, Dennis Trillo, for the victims of Typhoon Odette in 2021. On her Instagram, she shared, “Muli naming ibinabalik ang @startruck.ph para maging daan sa pagpapaabot ng inyong mga tulong. We are now opening our lines for cash donations.”
Other celebrities also made time to express their gratitude to rescue volunteers.
Conversely, many well-known brands urged their followers to prioritize their pets’ safety. In response to the impacts of Typhoon Carina, netizens rallied behind the “No Pets Left Behind” movement. This advocates for the protection of animals during disasters.
