Peppa Pig’s family just got a little bigger! On May 21, the popular children’s show announced that Peppa now has a baby sister named Evie.
This was shared through Peppa Pig’s official social media pages, saying: “Peppa is a big sister again! Mummy Pig has welcomed her third baby, daughter Evie 🐽🍼.”
In the story, Mummy Pig gave birth at home. Peppa, George, and Daddy Pig were all excited to meet the newest member of their family.
Now, the Pig family has five members—Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, Peppa, George, and baby Evie.
The creators of the show added Evie to bring new stories and real-life situations to the show, like how families grow, how big siblings adjust, and what it’s like to have a new baby in the house.
This helps young viewers relate to what they may experience in their own families.
Peppa Pig has been around for over 20 years and is shown in more than 180 countries.
Even after all this time, the show keeps changing and growing to stay fun and helpful for kids.
Writers and producers say Evie will appear in future episodes, though no exact date has been given.
Fans can look forward to seeing Peppa and George take on their new roles as big siblings while the family goes through exciting baby moments together.
For now, the Pig family is busy with diapers, bedtime stories, and, of course, jumping in muddy puddles—now with baby Evie joining the fun!
