Park Bo Gum Stars in New Drama ‘Good Boy’

Korean actor Park Bo-Gum will appear in the upcoming JTBC drama ‘Good Boy.’ JTBC has released stills of the actor on social media.

Bo-Gum (31) has starred in Reply 1988, Love in the Moonlight, Record of Youth, and Encounter. He has also starred in the fantasy film Wonderland and is set to star in the upcoming variety show My Name is Gabriel. 

‘Good Boy’ follows the story of Olympic medalists who became special police forces. They are called the “Olympic Avengers” who battle violent crime using their athletic abilities.



The uploaded photos show Park Bo-Gum’s role, Kim Dong-ju, proudly wearing a gold medal around his neck after winning the men’s middleweight finals. Other photos include the fictional boxer taking on his opponent and posing in the ring, showing off his incredible physique.

“Korean national boxing representative Kim Dong-ju (@bogummy) won the men’s middleweight final and won the gold medal,” JTBC wrote on Instagram. “A warm applause to Dong-ju Kim for a great game.” 

The boxer wrote tears of emotion on the stage, where he faced a fierce duel and became a recognizable figure. 



A-list Korean stars Kim So Hyun, Oh Jung Se, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Suk are working alongside Park Bo Gum.

Good Boy will premiere in the second half of 2024.
