WEATHER UPDATE – According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the Northeast Monsoon will be affecting Northern Luzon while Easterlies will affect Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao.
Weather Update Today – November 30, 2023
PAGASA’s weather update today (November 24, 2023) says Apayao, Batanes, and Cagayan including Babuyan Island will experience cloudy skies with rains caused by Northeast Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will encounter partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to Easterlies / Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms
According to PAGASA’s Wind and Coastal Water forecast, Luzon has strong to moderate wind speed to northeast with Moderate to Rough / (1.2 to 4.0 meters).
Visayas and Mindanao has light to moderate wind speed east to northeast with Slight to Moderate / (0.6 to 2.1 meters) coastal water conditions.
Under present weather conditions, the Northeast Monsoon affects Northern Luzon. Easterlies affect Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao.
