WEATHER UPDATE – According to PAGASA, the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in other areas today, March 6 (Wednesday).

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will encounter partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. The Easterlies have an impact on these areas, and during severe thunderstorms, possible flash floods or landslides.

Furthermore, PAGASA’s wind and coastal water conditions show that the Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao areas of the country will experience Metro Manila and the rest of the country winds, causing slight to moderate coastal water conditions (0.6 to 2.5 meters).

PAGASA reiterates the importance of preparedness and vigilance, especially in coastal areas and regions prone to landslides and flooding. 

Local government units are also urged to ensure that their disaster risk reduction and management plans are in place and operational.
