According to PAGASA, the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms today, February 27 (Tuesday).
The northeast monsoon is bringing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the area of Mindanao: Davao Region, which is affected by easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate and, at times, heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon will encounter cloudy skies with light rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.
Partly cloudy skies will prevail in Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Western Visayas, with the possibility of cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.
The rest of the country will encounter partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. The Easterlies have an impact on these areas, and during severe thunderstorms, there may be flash floods or landslides.
Furthermore, PAGASA’s wind and coastal water conditions show that Northern Luzon and the eastern section of the country will experience northeast winds, causing moderate to rough coastal water conditions (1.2 to 3.1 meters).
PAGASA advised areas affected by the Northeast Monsoon to monitor weather updates closely, especially in areas with warnings of scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
