The PAGASA reports partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms across most of the country today, February 14 (Wednesday).
Regions experiencing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are: the Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and the Southern portion of Quezon. These areas are influenced by the Shear Line and Easterlies, which may bring flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
Regions experiencing cloudy skies with light rains: Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and the rest of Quezon. Regions experiencing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains: Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, Rest of Central Luzon, and CALABARZON. These areas are affected by the Northeast Monsoon, with no significant impact expected.
The rest of the country is partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Furthermore, PAGASA’s wind and coastal water conditions show that the eastern sections of the country will experience moderate to strong northeast to east winds, causing moderate to rough coastal water conditions (2.1 to 3.7 meters).
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate northeast to east winds, leading to slightly moderate coastal waters (0.6 to 2.5 meters).
