WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippines Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is affecting Mindanao, while Easterlies is affecting Eastern Visayas.

Visayas and portions of Mindanao will experience mostly moderate to heavy rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience possible severe thunderstorms.

Weather Today – July 4, 2023

Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by ITCZ/Easterlies, impacting the areas with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains. Cautionary actions are advised for people living in accident-prone areas.



Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by ITCZ/localized thunderstorms, impacting areas with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal water conditions will be normal as winds directed from East to Southeast will be over Luzon and Visayas, and Mindanao will have winds directed from South to Southeast. – WhatALife!/Val
