Fans are expressing dismay after the events during Billboard Philippines’ 1st anniversary concert.
The concert was expected to be a huge success, featuring some of the biggest names in Filipino music, including the ever-popular girl group BINI and the P-pop Kings SB19. However, when the concert ended, the performers and the audience were livid about the overall experience.

Several delays occurred throughout Billboard Philippines’ concert due to technical issues. During BINI’s performance, the audio track for their latest single, “Cherry On Top,” was suddenly cut off. Despite the setback, the girl group maintained their composure and continued their performance in an acapella-style format.

The fans at the concert showed their devotion by singing along with the group. Netizens have commended their professionalism and ability to adapt to that sudden situation.
Unfortunately, the issue was far from over. At the concert’s closing, SB19 gave their all to put on a crowd-pleasing performance. However, they also encountered multiple difficulties, including the cut-off and delayed instrumental track.
There were even clips of Ken, one of SB19’s members, signaling “Stop” multiple times at the backstage crew.
The band members were visibly frustrated and didn’t hide it as they performed. Nevertheless, the group was determined to continue the show and deliver the promised conclusion to their fans, resulting in the latter’s cheering their commitment.
After the concert, SB19 published a statement on Twitter/X to thank the fans despite the technical situation.

Billboard Philippines has not released an official statement regarding the technical difficulties. Instead, they published an article saying that thanks to the performances of SB19 and BINI, the concert was deemed a “success.” In contrast, netizens were quick to shut the claims down.
Billboard PH’s Mainstage Concert was promoted as one of the biggest shows in the country to date, and it was held on a weekday. However, technical issues impacted the overall performances, so fans honestly consider the entire concert a flop.
Many netizens demanded that the event planners apologize for the situation, using the now-trending phrase “SB19 IS BILLBOARDERLESS.”
