Tito Jackson, one of the brothers who was a part of the beloved pop group ‘The Jackson 5’, died at 70. His sons TJ, Taj, and Taryll confirmed the sad news via an Instagram post.
“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson, is no longer with us. We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being,” the sons stated in the post.

Family friend Steve Manning has revealed Tito Jackson’s cause of death was a heart attack. He added that the attack occurred on Sunday when Tito was driving from New Mexico to Oklahoma.
Tito was well-known for being one of the original members of ‘The Jackson 5’. The band consisted of himself and his brothers, Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael Jackson. He was the band’s background singer who played the guitar.
The group made a series of international hits around the late 1960s and early 70s. Some of their top songs include “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” and “I’ll Be There.” Singer and actress Diana Ross even inducted Tito Jackson and his brothers into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

The members of The Jackson 5 broke up after to pursue solo careers. Tito was the last of the nine Jackson siblings to release a solo project with his 2016 debut, “Tito Time.” Tito later revealed he held back from pursuing a solo career on purpose to focus on raising his three sons.
