OTOP.Ph GINAMA Pasalubong Center had its soft launch last Saturday, June 15 at Gaston Park, Cagayan de Oro City.   From the term that means something made with great attention and care, this newly opened GINAMA pasalubong center features local products from MSMEs (Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises) coming from Northern Mindanao. During its soft launching activity, key stakeholders were present including ASec. Demphna Du-Naga from the Department of Trade and Industry, Hon. Ian Mark Nacaya representing Mayor Oscar Moreno, Regional and Provincial Directors and staff of DTI, City councilors and department heads from the City Government of Cagayan de Oro, Archbishop Antonio Ledesma and the clients/beneficiaries of the different government projects. Based on the project details, this is a collaboration of the local government and DTI to give the MSMEs an avenue to display and sell their local products—a marketing center for local creativity, taste, talent, artistry, and hard work.
