“Gyeongseoung Creature” season 2 has been announced. With a teaser video uploaded throughout social media.
Netflix unveiled Gyeongseoung Creature, with the premiere date set for September 27th. The series was a massive success which is mix of action, suspense, and fantasy applied to a historical setting.
It became popular among Filipinos with the brief appearance of Filipina actress Maja Salvador on “Gyeongseoung Creature” which also garnered the series a massive following in the Philippines.

Set in 1945, during the Japanese Empire’s occupation of Gyeongseong (the old name for Seoul), ‘Gyeongseoung Creature’ Season 1 follows the kidnapping of ordinary citizens who undergo biological experiments, leading to the creation of monsters. The teaser of the second season revealed the shift from the scenery of Gyeongseong in 1945 to modern Seoul in 2024.
In Season 2, the story will explore how the titular “creature” has survived and made its way to the modern day. It promises fans top action, mystery elements, and a side of scares.
Park Seo-Joon will return for the second season as Jang Ho-jae, who bears a striking resemblance to Jang Tae-sang. Han So-hee will return for the role of Yoon Chae-ok, a survivor of the events in season 1.
Joining the cast of “Gyeongseong Creature” are newcomers Lee Moo-saeng and Bae Hyeon-seoung. They have confirmed their roles as leaders of an elite group called The Kurokos.

“Chung Dong-yoon and Jo Yeong-min direct Gyeongseoung Creature” season 2. Kang Eun-kyung, known for the hit series ‘Dr. Romantic,’ ‘Forecasting Love and Weather,’ and ‘Kang Chi, The Beginning,’ will once again write the series.”
