Atasha and Andres Muhlach have considered Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales as ‘true-to-life parents.’ The twin stars have been in the spotlight alongside Aga and Charlene in the family sitcom “Da Pers Family.”

The sitcom revolves around the Percival family as they find ways to save their struggling bakery from closure. In both the set and real life, the Muhlach twins don’t consider their parents controlling, even allowing the siblings to do things on their terms.

“Our parents are not stage parents,” Andres Muhlach told reporters during the sitcom’s conference. “Our parents are the type of people whom you can spend your time with, and you see every day. We see them as our loved ones who we look up to and idolize.”

Atasha revealed how Aga and Charlene share their experiences and pass their wisdom to the twins for moral support.

“They will always just guide us with everything. Furthermore, they would never tell us what we did right or wrong. It’s never about the work; it’s always about the moral support for them,” Atasha commented. “I wouldn’t say they’re stage parents. Instead, they are true-to-life parents who are very responsible, kind, and warm-hearted people.”

“No, hindi naman. Pagdating sa paga-artista, parang sila na ‘yan. Kaya na nila ‘yan. Kung magtatanong sila sa’kin, d’un ako magsasalita. Pero kung hindi sila magtatanong, d’un ako.”
