Warner Bros. has just released the first trailer for the upcoming “A Minecraft Movie”, which garnered overwhelmingly negative reviews from netizens.
Based on the widely popular game, “A Minecraft Movie” was first announced in February 2014, with game creator Markus Persson revealing the news, adding that Mojang Studios are talking to Warner Bros. in realizing the project.

The film will focus on four individuals who find themselves in the Overworld and have to partner with an expert crafter to get back home. Jack Black will appear in the film as the mentioned crafter named Steve, who is the main player character in the Minecraft games.
People around the world recognize Black for his numerous live and voice-acting roles. Recently, he voiced two characters in video-game-inspired films: Bowser from the Super Mario Bros. Movie and Claptrap from 2024’s Borderlands, the latter film receiving negative views.
Joining the Minecraft movie cast includes Jason Momoa, Emma Myers, Sebastian Hansen, and Danielle Brooks.
