TV host and comedienne Melai Cantiveros expressed immense joy and deep emotion over her daughter Stela’s realization during the recent Holy Week.
Melai shared their heartwarming conversation about observing Semana Santa on her Instagram account, where Stela’s tears were captured on video.
In her caption, the Kapamilya TV host said, “‘Yong akala ko anu ang inayakan nya, sa sobrang tagal nya matapos magpray umabot cya sa ganito kaguilty..”
“Thank you Jesus kasi na-understand na ng aming Baby ang meaning ng Holy Week, at sobra akong nahappy bilang Mama. Aylabyu baby Stey,” she added.
In the video, Melai talks to Stela, asking her, Ba’t ka umiiyak? Dahil?”
“Nag-sacrifice si Jesus para sa amin,” Stela replied.
“Nag-sacrifice para sa ating pamilya lang?” Melai asked.
“And para sa mga tao din,” Stela answered.
“Kala ko sa ‘ting pamilya lang e, swerte naman natin. Na-realize mo sa prayer mo?” Melai asked again, referring to her daughter with Jason Francisco.
“Na si Jesus, dahil sa atin, pinatay ni Jesus ang self niya para mabuhay tayo,” Stela answered.
“Thank you ka kay Jesus always. Thank you, Jesus, kasi nagbigay mo ang life mo sa main.”
“Always ka mag-thank you, dahil pag nagte-thank you ka makikita ni Jesus na worth it yung ginawa niya, okay? And always ka grateful sa kanya ha,” Melai reminded her daughter.
