Actor turned Army reserve Mateo Guidicelli reportedly punched a bodyguard in the middle of his civil wedding rites with singer-actress Sarah Geronimo Thursday night. The incident took place inside a luxury hotel in Bonifacio Global City, during their supposed blissful ceremony. According to the Taguig police report, Jerry Tamara, one of Geronimo’s close-in security detail, reported that the 29-year-old actor punched him in the throat upon knowing that the mother of the bride, Divine, “arrived unexpectedly” at the ceremony. Mommy Divine did not know about the wedding, and Tamara was the one who informed her that the wedding was set that night. This upsets the actor leading him to punch the bodyguard. Tamara reported the incident on Friday dawn. Apparently, the mother of the 31-year-old actress did not approve of her relationship with Guidicelli.
