Marvel Studio has released the first teaser trailer of the latest addition to the MCU: “Thunderbolts*.”
The Thunderbolts movie is directed by Jake Schreier, who previously directed six episodes of Netflix’s drama series Beef. Kevin Feige is set to produce the film, and former Black Widow actress Scarlett Johansson will serve as one of its executive producers.

Based on the ‘Thunderbolts’ comics, the film focuses on an ensemble of reformed supervillains who the American government tasks to go on various missions.
Actor Sebastian Stan is confirmed to return to the MCU as Bucky Barns/Winder Soldier, now serving as the de facto leader of the Thunderbolts. Actress Florence Pugh will also make her MCU return as the new Black Widow. Moreover, the newest star to join the MCU is Lewis Pullman, who will be playing Bob, a character who transforms into the superhero “Sentry.”
Joining the Thunderbolts cast are David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, and Hannah John-Kamen, each reprising their MCU roles for the film.

The reveal of Thunderbolts in the MCU has garnered positive reactions from longtime fans. Many have various comments, from the excellent action scenes to some of the more comedic moments shown in the trailer.
