MAMAMOO’s Hwasa is set to release new solo album soon

South Korean MAMAMOO member Hwasa is preparing for a solo comeback, aiming to release her new album before the end of 2021, news outlet Sports Chosun reported on Wednesday, September 29.

RBW source further shared with YTN Star that “Hwasa is steadily working on her solo album. But the exact timing of the release has not been decided, and we will share an announcement in the future once it is decided on.”

The 26-year-old singer-rapper released her solo debut single Twit in February 2019 and had her latest solo comeback with Maria in June 2020. In addition, she has received lots of love from the public for her appearance on the variety show Home Alone.

Born Ahn Hye-jin, Hwasa debuted as a member of the girl group MAMAMOO in 2014 along with Solar, Moonbyul, and Wheein.
