Lorelei Go talks about losing her three sons to liver cancer. The single mom sat down with Toni Talks to discuss how her three children never made it past twenty-nine.
Lorelei Go shared her story of how her three sons were individually diagnosed with liver cancer. The three of them died shortly after one another. The first to be diagnosed was the eldest, Rowden. He was then followed by younger brothers Hasset Go and Hisham.

Rowden passed ten years ago in 2014. Due to his illness, the eldest son got married in the hospital. After Rowden passed, Hasset said that they should all get checked. Due to this, they discovered how ill he was as well.
By the time, doctors diagnosed Hassett when Rowden just passed two months before. She said that her middle child initially didn’t feel any of the symptoms. However, he was quickly digagnosed with a stage three cancer.
After his diagnosis, Hasset underwent an operation to remove the tumor on his liver. However, in his following ultrasound, the tumor grew again. Before he died, Hasset kept reasurring his mother that he loved her. Additionally, he reminded her to keep baking so that he could be remembered.
When it came to Hisham’s health diagnosis, he also had stage four cancer. She shared that her youngest said that he surrendered everything to God. Before he passed, the youngest of Lorelei Go’s sons told her, “Ma, huwag mo akong iwan.”

The mother shared that her youngest son collapsed then they rushed him to the hospital. Unfortunately, this was one of his final moments “Hindi ko siya nakita, na-collapse din ako eh.” She added, “Noong nagising ako, wala na siya.”
Lorelei Go’s husband was also mentioned, she shared that her children didn’t have a significant relationship with him. However, they reunited when Rowden was diagnosed with cancer.
Before losing her sons to cancer, Lorelei is thankful that she had God in her heart. “Nandito na si Lord sa puso ko. Kasi kung wala pa ‘yung Panginoon sa puso ko, paano na ako? Di ko kaya ‘yun, tumalon na ako.”
When asked if she ever felt angry at God she answered, “Hindi ako nagalit, noong nagkasakit sila, tignan mo, nameet namin ang needs namin. Paano ‘yun? Bigla-bigla nalang may tumutulong sa’yo, nabili ang gamot, nakabayad kami ng hospital bills. Hindi ka makapaniwala, kasamo mo ang Diyos niyan.”
