A week after the death of Liam Payne, his girlfriend Kate Cassidy revealed that they were planning to get married.
The American actress shared a heartbreaking tribute to her lover, whom she now calls a “guardian angel.”
“I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can’t put into words,” Cassidy wrote.

“You are — because I can’t say were — my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did. Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into,” she continued in her letter.
Cassidy wrote about her experiences with Liam and how she felt when he was around. She also revealed that she received a note that said “Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444.”
“Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel,” she concluded in her letter.
Kate Cassidy was with Liam Payne in Argentina for a short time as the latter wished to go home ahead of him.
“I was so ready to leave, honestly. I love South America, but I hate staying in one place for too long. And we were supposed to be there for, like, five days. It turned into two weeks, and I was just like, I need to go home,” Cassidy stated on her TikTok account.

As a backstory, Liam Payne, the former member of One Direction, tragically passed away several days ago after falling from the third floor of the hotel where he was staying.
Fans and loved ones are deeply concerned, as an initial toxicology report indicated the presence of pink cocaine in his system. This finding has led investigators to believe that Liam may have been under the influence of drugs at the time of his death.
