Leila Alcasid has announced that she is engaged to longtime boyfriend and indie singer-rapper Mito Fabie (aka Curtismith). They announced the news during their anniversary celebration on September 29th.
In the Instagram post, Alcasid and Fabie are shown close together in a green setup. In one of the photos, the former shows her hand with a diamond engagement ring on one of her fingers.
“The most special anniversary gift,” Leila wrote.

“The Lord bless you both. I am truly beyond happy for you two. Love you. Congratulations,” Leila’s father, Ogie Alcasid, expressed his love through the comments.
Leila Alcasid’s mother and former beauty queen Michelle van Eimeren also took to social media to congratulate her daughter.
“Congratulations on your engagement. Love you both,” she said, sharing Leila’s post.
Leila’s parents are not the only ones who congratulated the couple. Many celebrities also posted well wishes for Leila and Mito in the comments. Some include Gabbi Garcia, Darren Espanto, Billy Crawford, and Dominique Cojuangco.

Leila Alcasid revealed her relationship with Mito Fabie back in 2019. While she kept some personal details private, she shared that they had been living together for some time. This led to her father to have some misgivings about their setup.
However, the longtime singer-songwriter lets her be and noted that she is already an adult. He also shared that he is proud of his daughter for being fully independent.
During the pandemic, Leila and Mito took their relationship to the next level and became more open to the public.
