On its 93rd day, The Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 season finally had its final four contestants: Kaisha Montinola, Rain Celmar, Sofia Smith, and Kolette Madelo. The Big 4 had their “tapatan” or face-off with host Bianca Gonzalez. 

Each housemate had the opportunity to ask hard-hitting questions they’d never mentioned out loud. When Kolette’s turn came, she asked Kai if she would choose their friendship over a winning spot.

The housemate’s face-off happened in multiple rounds. For the first round, Kai was the last to be called by Bianca. When it came to her turn, Kolette asked the seventeen-year-old from Cebu, “Pagkakaibigan o spot?”

To this, Kai answered, “If talagang kaibigan kita, alam mo naman kung bakit nandito ako. Alam ko din kung bakit nandito ka. So, obviously I would pick the spot. I value our friendship, pero pumunta ako ditong mag-isa. And alam ko din pumunta ka dito ng mag-isa. Yung spot is just a one-time thing, ‘yung friendship can last as long as we want.”

After this, Rain asked Kai, her PBB best friend, a question about a statement that had been recently commented on regarding their friendship. 

Rain asked, “As each other’s best friends dito sa house ni kuya. When I got the comments na I was relying or dependent on you, what did you honestly think? Did you agree or disagree?”

PBB Big 4 contestant, Montinola answered, “Ganun ba? Like, did it look like that? Kasi honestly, parang wala lang talaga. Maybe because I’m Kai, pero whenever most of you guys said it, I was shocked. 

Kasi, madaming nagsasabi na ‘Ah, bakit hindi ka nag like this to everyone, nag-rerely ka lang kay Kai’ and of course I felt guilty. Kasi ako ‘yung parang namention and I know, I super know na hindi talaga ganon si Rain. Kaya, ‘yun Rain, I disagree and you know that I do.”

Other highlights of the Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 face-off include the other housemates questioning Fyang’s disrespectfulness. This is often a topic of discourse with PBB fans because some believe that she’s only being true to herself. 

On the other hand, other watchers believe that she’s disrespectful to other housemates.
