Singer-composer Klarisse de Guzman came out as bisexual during the latest episode of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.
This revelation not only marks a significant moment in her personal life but also highlights the growing visibility of LGBTQ+ individuals in mainstream media.
Klarisse, who has been in a relationship with her girlfriend Trina for four years, shared her journey with her housemates, expressing relief and happiness about being true to herself.
The singer’s decision to come out was facilitated by a task led by celebrity house guest Michelle Dee, which encouraged housemates to discuss misconceptions about themselves.
Reflecting on her journey, Klarisse said, “Ang tagal kong pinag-isipan kung sasali ako ng ‘PBB’ kasi hindi ko alam kung kaya kong i-expose ang buhay ko.”
“Tingin ko ito na ‘yung time na sabihin sa inyo and to tell the world,” she expressed, “that I’m not straight. I am bi.”

The singer further opened up about Trina, her girlfriend of four years, who is taking care of her mother. Noting that her parents were aware of her relationship before she publicly disclosed it.
“Hindi ko in-expect na masasabi ko ito ngayon,” she said.
In the aftermath of the revelation, Klarisse expressed gratitude for the support she received from her family and fellow housemates.
“Sobrang saya ko na, finally, wala na akong tinatago kumbaga Kuya. Malaya na po ako.” she said.
She added, “I’m so happy and I’m so proud of myself that I’m finally out.”
Klarisse de Guzman is a singer and composer known for her powerful vocals and soulful performances. She rose to fame as the runner-up of The Voice of the Philippines Season 1 in 2013, where she was mentored by Sarah Geronimo.
